Released finally! Got a nine. Can't complain when that's the amount of effort I injected...

Unreliable Shit
APIIT's PCs are really so bloody sucky. No Illustrator, no Premier, no support for newer version of SVG Viewer, PCs are so darn slow, either that or can't login at all, or can login but can't access to the Internet, things seemed to have been saved in thumbdrive always turn out to be bubbles, LAN shared folder's so darn difficult to share, geramnya! But it does offer related courses and expects students to complete some incourse tutorials which requires those softwares!
Damn I've to do all 11 completed svg tutorials again. Sigh.

A Day to Grief
Dear Love
Today is a day to grief. To grief the lost of you. My heart sunk to the lowest peak when I saw it being cut, I broke down into tears and couldn't speak when I found you gone. I'm sorry I was lazy to bring you out, I'm sorry I let you walk away from my life just like that, without even bidding you goodbye. It's tough just by thinking that I have lost you, I still cry when I think of you. Sigh.
Thank you for serving me well and faithfully since 2003, bringing me great convenience since then, entertaining me when I'm lonely and bored. Your spirit will always be with me.
The changes in life are always unpredictable. May all of us be blessed.
To miss you forever
Mel

Dry Skin
Think I haven't been taking care of myself everytime after swim, my skin's very dry lately. tense all over the torso, the palms, the heels, the face (non-stop peeling!) argh, the amount of fruits that I eat doesn't seem to suffice! Dang, too lazy (more often I'm forgetful) to apply lotion.
Is there any express way of recover/remoisturise the skin, anyone, please? Hehe. Most appreciated!

Multitasker Inspired by Mosquito
1. The backyard neighbour's mower was roaring away, making it hard for anybody to concentrate;
2. It's time to mow the garden as well;
3. The smell of grass (since the neighbour started making the air smelly, I'll join the cloud and make it one off);
4. Since it's a hot day, am going to sweat indoor or outdoor anyway. Why not make it outdoor?
5. Ate two bars of Cadbury's Chocfuls within 2 hours. Calaries must be burnt.
Decided that 5 reasons are good enough to justify my actions (which is definitely necessary since it's critical time for FYP) I brought the mower out from the store room and accidentally achieved something today - multitasking! Mowing in one hand, the other hand holding an umbrella (yeah, I said I don't mind sweating but didn't say I wanna get tanned further!), both legs kicking away the yards-long wire so that the mower won't cut it, eyes supervising all these coordinations. Yes the eyes must be credited as it played a vital role - proven when a mosquito is spotted and sent to hell while it was happily sucking away blood (and possibly transmitting desease to me) from my fat and sweaty arms. (Yeah yeah, lovey, say it! I've heard it a thousand times - celebrating mediocracy - make it the 1001th times? :p Kidding!)
Anyway, discovered (yeah, big word again, celebrating mediocracy aGAiN) a useful feature of the lawn mower. When its garbage collector is full and not emptied, the overloaded grass will be dragged all over the place. The feature that I discovered today is, it could clean up the cut leftovers when the collector's empty like a vacuum cleaner! What a responsible green monster (the mower's body's green and black)! So I'd like to advertise a bit for it: "Do not litter. Buy lawn mower, buy Black & Decker!". Hehehe.
Oh talking bout mosquitoes, here's a (meaningful, I think) thought. If on a hot afternoon uncle mosquitoes can come out to seek food, and the fact that they're not picky eater, I certainly think it's acceptable to include them in children's book. Remember the chapters where we were told that auntie ants are hardworking and we were urged to learn from them? And that we should not pick our food? Well, auntie ants have been colonising children's books and minds for far too long. Perhaps it's time for a change of leading role!
To conclude, if this is an example of controversial education (反面教育), I think my future kids are in good hands of their mom, so blessed... My parents and future parents-in-law mIGHt be worried for them though! *raise eyebrow (either side) michievously* Hehehe!

Please Guide Me
I lost myself in the smoke
I lost my directions while struggling
Help me if it's my fault
Accept me for I'm imperfect
Direct me if I'm lost
Show me lights if I'm stuck in the darkness
Hold my hands
Walk with me
Talk to me
Guide me
I look forward to a happy tomorrow with you
I look forward to a bright future with you
I lost my directions while struggling
Help me if it's my fault
Accept me for I'm imperfect
Direct me if I'm lost
Show me lights if I'm stuck in the darkness

You made a miracle mother

If you're willing to change the world
Let love be your energy

Busy Day
Decided to "boycott" the lecturer (for the first few minutes of class), I left home only at 7.40, arrived school at 9.10 (damn, it's still too early!), muahahaha! 2 names away from mine when the lecturer was marking attendance, there was a blackout, woohoo~! brunch at shukran, man, their service's TERRIBLY slow! Poor Chi Yie, waited for at least .5 hour for her maggie goreng! my mee goreng was lousy too.
3 hours lab session - programming lzw, haven't been programming for so long, jz couldn't squeeze anything out, sigh. think karl was dissapointed with the majority of our performances.
went to klcc after class, met with sze yuen! yo, hwei, how come she's still so short?! :p but then she's lost LOTS of weight! I conclude that studying in Form 6 means enrolment in slimming course (express type)! All the four of you have very nice limbs though :)
Heard Hoobastank's Reason on my way back, think of Sara. Oh sara, those times when we visit the pool centre with shirley, yong, and the rest, that was when this song was really hot on the charts... hope you're doing great recently!
oh, dad begins to know how to type sms! big leap! keep it up, daddy! and i'm glad that you're much more patient these days. Also, thank you for learning to tame your temper *big hug!* (one day, you'll let me hug you again like i used to. I'm sure - at least before I get married! Hehe.)
Gotta pick up on C and C++ again, so am flipping CSE1303 Computer Science's notes. I remember the morning when i first saw matt in the class, the first tute when I gave up so quickly, hehe... How are you lately, matt? Still teaching in Brunei eh?
btw, father weelee, i think i know why we should use layer in illustrator... with layers, editing's way more flexible (though i don't know how to use layers STILL but I realise the inconvenience and limitation when using only 1 layer...)

Sexy Lady
Last night, mom saw and asked. This afternoon, Ms Chew saw and also asked. Who is she? I don't know. Why do I set it as my desktop background? Well, to me she's really what I'd call sexy, physically. Unlike most floppy so-called models, she's well-toned yet looks feminine still. Wonder what combo of exercise she does. Only hoping that she's not a porn star...
So guys, have any idea who this sexy creature is?

Sexy body, but who's she?

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
When all the world is a hopeless jumble
And the raindrops tumble all around
Heaven opens a magic lane
When all the clouds darken up the skyway
There’s a rainbow highway to be found
Leading from your windowpane
To a place behind the sun
Just a step beyond the rain
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There’s a land that I dreamed of
Once in a lullabye
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
Some day I’ll wish upon a star
and wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where laughter falls like lemon drops away above the chimney tops
That’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true
If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh, why can’t i?
Jewel, Fatih Hill, Judy Garland, Aselin Debison, Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, Pink Floyd, Ray Charles, Tony Bennet, Eva Cassidy, Mariah Carey, Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole, even A New Found Glory sung this song! Wow. Think Israel and Aselin's mixed version with What A Wonderful World are very nice.
Downloaded a few of Elvis' concert videos, all suck. Someone so gifted with great voice like him but got stuck on drugs, was simply a waste, a pity, disturbing. The King, my foot. Suddenly his songs aren't appealing anymore. Wish I hadn't seen the videos. Sigh. Now I don't know if I'd like his songs anymore...
Btw I found this personality disorder test. Take a look and see if it's true for you if you're free and interested..

Pornography
Downloaded The Hangovers' Daydream Believer, thought it sounded like KFC's theme song, so I tried to find out if there's connection between these songs. Accidentally discovered the xxxchurch - #1 christian porn site. My curiosity says I should surf on, so I did. There are many more misleading and fascinating domain name with interesting yet controversial vision. Btw weelee, I think the graphic designer of missionarypositions.tv did a terrific job in designing the main page!
Don't rush to stereotype these sites by their URLs. Doesn't matter if you're a non-Christian (so am I not), I think we should have an open mind to read these enthusiastic Christians' mission. The point is, we should understand what we really preach, and practice, as I believe all religions guide us to be good.
Having a little thought on pornography, the culture it shaped and continue to shape (doesn't matter the media used to promote pronography), the impact of the Internet to our society, our preachings vs. daily practices, the impact of pornography on relationship/marriage and children, and more...
Porn and Marriage
Sex and Spirituality
Is Internet Pornography Like Cheating?
Conclusion: Heaven and Hell are next door neighbours. It makes a difference in marriage if couples put in effort and full commitment to improve the quality of their relationships and lives, physically and spiritually. (Physical attraction's really NOT everything - wrinkles will come crawling on our faces one day like it or not, when all the anti-sagging cream will work for us no more; Meanwhile plain inner attraction's bullshit - everyone's beautiful in the eyes of their beholders! Attraction comes in plural by default. Think about it!)

To Love, Strength and Courage!
Have you ever reached a rainbow's end
And did you find your pot of gold
Ever catch a shooting star
And tell me how high did you soar
Ever felt like you were dreaming
Just to find that you're awake
And the magic that surrounds you
Can lift you up and guide you on your way
I can see it in the stars across the sky
Dreamt a hundred thousand dreams before
Now I finally realize
You see I've waited all my life for this moment to arrive
And finally I believe
When you look out in the distance
You see it never was that far oh no
Heaven knows your existance
And wants you to be everything you are
Oh there's a time for every soul to fly
It's in the eyes of every child
It's the hope, and love that saves the world
And oh we should never let it die
(Chorus)
I believe in the impossible
If I reach deep within my heart
Overcome any obstacle
Won't let this dream fall apart
See I strive to be the very best
Shine my light for all to see
Cause anything is possible
When you believe yeah
I can see it in the stars across the sky
Dreamt a hundred thousand dreams before
Now I finally realize
I've waited all my life for this moment to arrive
And finally I believe
Yes I believe
Ohh Yeah
Love keeps liftin me higher
Liftin me higher
Love keeps liftin me higher
I said love keeps liften
Love keeps liften me
I said Love keeps liften
Love keeps liften me higher
Said love keeps liften me higher
I said love keeps liften me high
It seemed like yesterday
When things were simple and beautiful
When we soar in our skies of fantasies without worries
Girls, we could still do!
Sometimes - most of the times
Things seem tough and rough, impossible and unberable
Be afraid not to find out what follows the storms
Fate is ours to twist, destiny is up to us to create
Past, present, future
Time tells what's ours and what isn't
Take up the challenges, or be beaten
For endurance rips refinement
Special dedication to Sze Hwei, Hui Yin, Jing Wen, and myself.
(I chased away the loneliness and insecurity feeling from within after writing this post! *celebrate*)

Equinox... Bravo, Adam!
Perhaps it's dad's online registration problem, perhaps it's today's IP Huffman compression exercise, felt really weary. Mentally tired and slowing down. Went to Securities Commission with mom for Equinox by The Breakers, "An evening of dazzling a capella by the New York vocal band", these guys are good, liked Adam Farouk's performance especially. The PM's wife Datin Seri Endon was there too, she looks healthy; and Datin Seri Ena Ling, she's really pretty, gorgeous! Also saw mom's bosses, hmm... all these people look very well upkept. The wonders of being rich and affordable!
Noticed the microphones used by The Breakers are really good mics. Finally seen and heard the different types of mics as learned in AM within one night, it makes the night pretty eventful coz finally what is learned from the lectures, is implemented...
Something in the shape of Lovey's car refreshener, what's a "pitch phone" by the way? What's its usage? Who are the target users? *curious* (ok, too much DUI and user profiling!)

Grasp of Backstroke
Swam in Bukit Jalil with Lovey today, I think I'm getting the hang of backstroke... *sweat sweat!* But then need to train my rhythm of breathing (Thanks for your advice, Lovey :) Oh and thanks to Becky who pointed out the mistake I make while doing breaststroke!)
Due to the fact that I learned backstroke by instinct and observation, I'd appreciate if anyone could share their experience, perhaps even swim together and observe the way I do backstroke and give me comments? Anyone? Lovey? William? WeeLee? Louisa? Amelia? Thank you in advance :)

Thank You for Your Thoughts :)
Dear Sara
Firstly, thank you for
1. Calling to say hi
2. Visiting my blog everyday :) but seriously you're not the only person who does that :p Thank you anyway, am glad to know that.
Seriously if wisdom teeth cause you pain or even headache, that's a sign that it's growing in the way of the neighbour teeth. Think there's nothing you can do except for having 'em extracted. The pain after extracting your wisdom teeth might last 1 to 3 days (only), it's definitely much more bearable than suffering the pain of wisdom teeth unextracted. I'm speaking from experience. Twice. Consult your dentist for advice ok.
Work hard on your FYP, don't be a slacker like me ok. Take care!
Best wishes

Dear Kean Yeap
Thank you for calling, thank you for your kind thoughts in planning to attend Lee Hwee's dinner with me. Sorry for not letting you know that I've a company earlier, didn't know you wish to go with me (what happens to those girls you mentioned over times??) but then even if I knew your plan, I can't help you :) Anyway, if this message reaches you, please do not feel offended by my choice.
I'm waiting for invitation to your wedding. You'll invite me, right? RiGHt? :P Good luck in finding your mate :)
Best regards

Wei, Sze Hwei!
Dearest 诗卉,
I received your letter today. Thanks a lot! Omigod, what a pleasant surprise! *hug* So nice of you, after so many years (see that's the point. now I sound a lil [just A liTtLe, I hope!] sarcastic, but never mind, who among the PIGs doesn't :p) What i'm really trying to say is, I'll try to lift up the pen and draw a few turtles, if I can find a pen lar. Yeah, life's been busy for me, you know, just me, that's why I (eh~hem *look, StaRE@you!) haven't been writing for years... erm, it's true :p i nEvEr lie (yeah right!)
So, I was staring at the envelope for a few minutes (definitely not less than 5), thinking how I should write your address if (<- NOTE the keyword) I were to reply. Was wondering how Japs read address? "your name,彳bla bla, こじまbla bla, 名古屋bla bla, followed by 1-4-20, Japan"? *confused* Do I write it vertically or horizontally? Can't be diagonally right? (KiDdiNg!) Think the japs read only the (to us is) traditional chinese characters, so I shouldn't sub 熱 with 热, and 馬 with 马 right? Too many questions. Then I read your letter, 哇唠, it's looooong! But then it felt close-to-heart. Ok, talking bout your correspondence address first. So after reading all the 6 pages, I found your address, at the bottom of the page (what's new, squeezing [synonym: stinge] at the end of letter seem to be our pattern, our trade marks!) Orrhh, that's your address is it? Your fault lar, act cute, never write it clearly in the envelope, 老可爱 (sigh, you can never ever catch up with my age, though) :p kidding yeah. So now that i know the arrangement of address in japan, should I spell "k-o-j-i-m-a", for example, or should I write "こじま"? And if I write こじま do I write it vertically or horizontally? ...there I go again! Better answer ASAP before I bug you further! Oh in case you forgot what you wrote on the envelope, here's a gEnTLe remind:-
So, to end this reply (this is not a reply to your letter, roger. you wrote me 6 pages! and your handwriting got messier and messier! be prepared for payback time, babe!) I must tell you that reading your letter while listening to norah jones' is a bad idea. 边读边想你边流泪。Good exercise and coordination for old woman like me - eyes, brain, hands (hold in tremble and flipped gently), and not to mention I had to guess a few words here and there (not tOO maNy, don't worry, just hERe and tHErE, *raise voice, raise eyebrow (right side :p)* ya know! maybe some brain cells sacrificed, that's all, I mean, reALLy no BIG dEaL, dON't feel bad aT aLL ok! promise!) :p
OK, seriously to END this reply, I'm glad we're still keeping in touch! Here's to you.
我,还是废废、懒惰、发太多白日梦的我
你,还是上进、现实、不抱太多期望的你

Don't forget to lemme know if I should write in jap or english ya. Once you clear the doubt, I'll try to find a way to write to you. Again, the keyword here is, TRY. Take care of yourself ok.
Love,
Me, still.
Oh in case you forgot what you wrote on the envelope, here's a gEnTLe remind:-
彳456-0034
名
こ古
じ屋
ま市
吴X X
诗X X
卉X X
X X
X
1-4-20

Field Trip
Today's field trip "Beyond 2D: Experience the Power of Interactive 3D" at Crystal Crown Hotel, only weelee and I went. The launch of Lightwave 8 and Anark 3, I know nuts bout 3d, but weelee says lightwave 8's powerful and maybe we can use Anark to present OUR toilet bowl and other presentation slides, hehe. Ms Chew came late, hehe, finally got to know who's Mr Chau Kian Tsong, Jen's supervisor who also happens to be the lecturer who did our IP2 slides. What a shy guy, my oh my! Wonder if he's married (very bad of me *mischievous*) Later must try the willie trick to bypass the supposedly 30-days trial CD of Anark, full version eh! Hmm...
Went to Mid Valley to shop for a decent dress for the wedding dinner. It's been a while since I last do shopping, walked really slowly alone. Tried on many dresses at different boutiques, but still find Urban & Co's outfits fit me nicely. Finally bought a milky white semi-sheath dress. Glad. Perhaps I need a shawl next, or is a cardigan better? ...*consider*
Cooked frankfurters in parmesan cheese for myself for dinner, weird combo, the taste is a bit strange! But then consider it's one of the dinners I've cooked for myself which I put in a lot of effort (consider the fact that I've to put it into the microwave oven, and later have to wash up), I'm glad I at least ate something. Dad requested my company to go shopping, the moon's so blue tonight...
btw Wee Lee, perhaps this is the right way of turnings in the water? what do you think? Think i've been doing breaststroke turn correctly.
and sara, i heard keane's somewhere only we know over the radio, when I checked your message i realized it's this song that you recommended i've downloaded. Good choice *thumbs up* :) more or less know my taste of music eh. Not bad not bad. What's next? Hehe. How are you btw? How's your thesis coming a long?

Prank No More... :-|
Played another prank on Ms Chew today, being the main prank idea contributor, Ms Chew looked upset this time, and I truly feel bad. I'm sorry, Ms Chew :( *pull ears, squad, sulk* I promise it will not happen again... to you.
Wee Lee, welcome to the land of happy meal! Weeee! See ya tomorrow. *flag* Field trip! Field trip! No class! No class! (I know, i know, not field trip, but I wAnT to call it a field trip, so? Bite me? :P) Yay yay!
So many assignments and projects... dang! Luckily DUI project's fun shit - usable interface design of toilet bowl *sniff sniff?* Hehe..

(Oh, thanks to the massive information available from the Internet, I was really clueless of wedding dinner wear)
:) Happy to hear your wedding bell rings! All the best in your marriage! :)

Dinner with Uncle Baba! :p
While watching lovey practice, again I flipped thru the Bible. Today I happened to flip thru more pages which I could understand more verses. Talking about religions, I've always wanted to understand Christianity and Islamic further, some questions about life and death and sin I've been thinking but could not get an answer. Someone please advice where can I talk to a priest/pastor/father/imam? Not trying to be funny, seriously.
Swam with lovey and Becky at KJ, *breath breath breath* losing the rhythm of breathing... had a few gulps of the pool water *cough cough*. Dinner with Uncle Tan! What a terrific father he is, hehe. Becky, lovey, you guys are lucky! (Not that my dad's lousy, but wish dad's more patient like yours!) :P
Arrived at CSK, Tze Han's mom showed me her book. Standard 3 syllabus' tough. What is magnet made of? Ketchup, vinegar, water, which is insulator, which is conductor? Then worse still, they need to read simple engineering symbols, electric flows, etc... Worse, they need to learn all these in bi-languages, English and Mandarin - what's nickel in Mandarin, What's Franco's name in Mandarin? What the hell, standard 3 students having to know all these?! No wonder everyone needs tuitions! What happens to step-by-step and childhood? ARrgGHhh..

You did it, weelee! Congratulations! *confetti* woohoo~! Yeah I agree, Karl better ensure it's short and simple in exam. I went out with my lovey yesterday, he said he felt stoned and linked the some car number plates he saw on the road with his work. The moment he mentioned number plates, my attention was drawn to focus - ALPHANUMERICS - to be honest, I experienced a little panic attack somehow...

Somehow Touching
An old man lived alone. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who used to help him, was in prison.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
A few days later he received a letter from his son.
At 4am the next morning, F.B.I. agents and local police showed up and dug up the entire area without finding any bodies. They apologized to the old man and left. That same day the old man received another letter from his son.
The old man wrote a letter to his son and described his predicament.
Dear Son,
I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I'm just getting too old to be digging up garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me.
Love Dad
A few days later he received a letter from his son.
Dear Dad,
For heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up that garden, that's where I buried the BODIES.
Love Son

Dear Dad,
Go ahead and plant the potatoes now. That's the best I could do under the circumstances.
Love Son
Happy Birthday, Mommies!
On my way home, dropped by to pump in petrol and drove through to McD to fetch french fries, apple pie and sundae. Drove at 90kmph eating sundae's today's achievement, hehe.
Dad who doesn't usually eat dinner joined mom and I today. The fact and thought that we've all grown up and couldn't spend enough time as a whole family sort of saddens me. Over the dinner table, dad recollected some of his childhood memories, I feel sorry for what he had to go through - the fun fair and kite incident, the mahjong piece incident, the Jesus' Good News incident - I tried hard to hold back my tears...
Thank you, mommy, daddy, for treating us so well, for loving us so unconditionally.
Happy birthday, darling mommy;
Happy birthday, dearie babysitter!
Both are like our mommies, one daytime (babysitter), the other nighttime (mom) :p both are great women who love us so dearly. Thank you!
Tonight, for the first time, even though dad's just downstairs, I miss him. And Tze Seng, how are you? Sigh. Life.
I wish I could fly. Soar freely to those whom I love...

Thank You, Sunny Boy
I thought
that was it
so I jumped to conclusion?
I understood
and I understand
and I will continue to do my best to be understanding
Thank you
for being patience
for calling to check, to ensure that things are fine

It wasn't on the verge! I thought the rock climbing was hard, thought I'm alone again. Then you walked into the picture again. The wind helped the folded paper planes soar to you... Yay!
Thank you, lovey. *hugs and kisses*

I'm Sorry/You Mean To Me
There is a diamond inside of me that lights up the sky of my soul
Where fell the diamond when I believed that all of the hurt was my fault
I'm opening the heart door, letting in the light
Opening the heart door and giving life to me that died
You ended up so with that person who comes home too late from the bar
I ended up so when my courage could finally walk on its own
When I finally opened the door
Paula Cole - Heart Door

On the verge?

Sour Night
...
dry outside,
raining inside;
hoping for the best,
expecting the worst.
I missed you,
I miss you,
I will miss you?
...
Sigh. Thank you, anyway. You are wonderful. Good luck with work.

A Day As Pig
Swam@KJ, went to Euro Deli in Damansara Kim with Lovey, the chefs did the food well - the sausages are crunchy, the spegetti cabonara's just nice. liked the ambience of the restaurant though - nothing classy but quiet, nothing close to home feeling but comfy. Oh it's one of the very few days when I eat so much and ate so many grams of pork! Feel like a pig... Thanks for your company, lovey :) *burp bURp BURP!* weeeeee, I could do it... here. Hehe.
Jz wondering how many types of hot dogs, sausages, frankfurters, wursts, etc are there on earth, and their different cookery styles, when to eat and what to eat with. But then why wonder, all I could do is prepare (hopefully not overcooked) instant noodle using the microwave oven...
Conclusion: leave the sausages to the experts!
